Food Reclamation Initiative

Out of the Garden Project reclaims more than 1 million pounds of food annually from local grocery stores and businesses and redistributes it to local children and their families. Our food reclamation efforts fight both hunger and food waste in our community!

Interested in volunteering for this initiative? We have volunteers repackage and sort donated pizza, bread, sweets, and non-perishable food items at our warehouse located at 300 NC-Hwy 68 S, Greensboro NC, 27407.
